MS ANDREA II - shortly before completion
MS Andrea, a sister ship of MS Asara and MS Alena, is nearing completion.
The actual christening and commissioning of the ship should take place these days, but the current situation unfortunately puts everyone involved in a waiting position.
However the most important thing is that we stay healthy, take care of us and our fellow human beings and survive these difficult times together.
New Expedition ship for Quark Expeditions
On June 12th 2018, Quark Expeditions signed an agreement with Croatia’s Brodosplit yard to build a new expedition ship for polar operations, set to launch in 2020.
The 200-passenger ship was designed by LMG Marin in close cooperation with Quark Expeditions, the company announced.
The 13,000-ton ship will feature twenty zodiacs as well as four embarkation points for landings, as well as two helidecks.

Official Christianing of MS ALENA
On Friday, 23.03.2018 MS Alena, the newest river boat in the Phoenix Travel Fleet, has been solemnly blessed and baptized.
The godmother Elena Kramer-Miret, wife of Phoenix CEO Jörg Kramer, gave the ship, crew and passengers heartfelt wishes for the journey and then had the obligatory champagne bottle crumpled perfectly on the ship's side.
Carlsen publishing-house headquarter re-launched
The Carlsen Verlag is a publishing house, which was founded 1953 in Hamburg. The publisher's program focuses on books for children, i.e. Harry Potter, Rugrats and the Adventures of Tintin. Carlson Verlag is also best known for it's comic division Carlsen Comics, which is among the biggest comic and graphic novel publishers in Germany.

MS ARTANIA - drydock at Blohm & Voss
After an extensive Refit in November 2017, MS ARTANIA was undocked at the end of November and set sails to a world-trip. The interior refit included the renovation of anumber of cabins
as well as remodellings of the show lounge and "Harry's Bar".
