Im Juni 2025 wurde die MS Spirit of the Moselle der britischen Reederei SAGA Cruises feierlich in Dienst gestellt.

Das Gestaltungskonzept der MS Spirit of the Moselle verbindet die landschaftliche und kulturelle Identität der Moselregion mit der Bildsprache der Romantik – einer Epoche, die die Region als Sinnbild für Sehnsucht, Naturverbundenheit und geschichtliche Tiefe verklärt hat. Dabei nimmt auch das Thema Wein eine zentrale Rolle im gestalterischen Narrativ ein.

In June 2025, the MS Spirit of the Moselle from the British shipping company SAGA Cruises was ceremoniously put into service.

The design concept of the MS Spirit of the Moselle combines the scenic and cultural identity of the Moselle region with the visual language of Romanticism - an era that transfigured the region as a symbol of longing, closeness to nature and historical depth. The theme of wine also plays a central role in the creative narrative.
