Verwandlung des CLUB 2

Was einst als klassischer Jazzclub begann, hat 2022 auf der MS EUROPA 2 eine neue Bühne bekommen: Mit dem Umbau des Club2 entstand eine Aperitivo-Bar, die sich immer wieder neu erfindet – inspiriert von Reisezielen, Tageszeiten und besonderen Momenten an Bord.

Dank digitaler Wandpaneele, einem fein abgestimmten Lichtsystem und einem flexiblen Gastronomie- und Musikprogramm wird der Raum zur Bühne der Veränderung. Mal minimalistisch und ruhig, mal lebendig und mondän – die Bar passt sich jeder Stimmung an und wird zum wandelbaren Erlebnisraum mit Identität.

Ein Ort, der nicht festgelegt ist, sondern inspiriert – von der See, den Gästen und dem Moment.

Transformation of the CLUB 2

What once began as a classic jazz club was given a new stage on the MS EUROPA 2 in 2022. The refit of Club2 has created an aperitivo bar that is constantly reinventing itself - inspired by destinations, times of day and special moments on board.

Thanks to digital wall panels, a finely tuned lighting system and a flexible catering and music programme, the space becomes a stage for change. Sometimes minimalist and calm, sometimes lively and sophisticated - the bar adapts to every mood and becomes a changeable experience space with an identity.

A place that is not fixed, but inspired - by the sea, the guests and the moment.

Neugestaltung Yachtclub

Trotz ihrer wiederholten Auszeichnung als weltweit bestes Kreuzfahrtschiff durch den Berlitz Cruise Guide wurde die MS EUROPA 2 im Jahr 2019 bereits zum dritten Mal seit ihrer Indienststellung im Jahr 2013 in Teilbereichen neu gestaltet – ein klares Bekenntnis zu kontinuierlicher Qualitätsentwicklung und hoher Gestaltungsanspruch.

Während eines nur 14-tägigen Drydock-Refits wurden mehrere Gästebereiche umfassend renoviert. Im Mittelpunkt stand dabei das Buffetrestaurant „Yachtclub“, das funktional und atmosphärisch neu gedacht wurde – mit fließenden Raumübergängen, hochwertiger Materialwahl und einer klaren, modernen Formsprache. Auch weitere Bereiche an Bord wurden hinsichtlich Komfort, Lichtführung und Raumgefühl gezielt optimiert. Ein Refurbishment, das zeigt: Anspruchsvolles Design lebt von Aufmerksamkeit – auch im Detail.

Redesign of the Yachtclub

Despite repeatedly being named the world’s best cruise ship by the Berlitz Cruise Guide, MS EUROPA 2 underwent its third redesign in 2019 since entering service in 2013 — a clear testament to its ongoing commitment to quality and exceptional design standards.

During a drydock refit lasting just 14 days, several guest areas were comprehensively refreshed. The focus was on the ‘Yachtclub’ buffet restaurant, which was completely reimagined both functionally and atmospherically - flowing spatial transitions, premium materials, and a clear, modern design language now define the space. Other areas on board were also thoughtfully enhanced to improve comfort, lighting, and spatial experience. A refurbishment that illustrates how sophisticated design is ultimately defined by its attention to detail.
